Hi Norm, That was great! How or where did you ever find it? I live in USA and was also a policeman (Bobby or whatever you call us over there) and some of those places are real dangerous for cops, like orange county. I remember many TTY's comeing from there of cops being killed. Like once a week. Today they don't even use TTY. They use computers. Is there a web site where I can listen to UK policemen? That would be fun.
Hi Bobby, unfortunatly our british police have now moved over to a digital "tetra" system and I'm no longer able to listen to them on the regular UHF or VHF frequencies my scanner. Someone told me that new digital recievers are availible but there mega bucks to buy, so I wont be getting one just yet...
on the site above you can select England, and see what audio feeds are availible, but I dont think there are any feeds from british cops.
Hi Bobby, Sorry, I'm unable to answer muffin based questions here. please post in the correct catagory! ps. must have been an American who invented the English muffin, as if it was invented by the English it would just be called a muffin and not an English muffin.
Anyway, getting back on topic, I find that the Chicago police feed is very interesting to listen to and quite active too! well cool. I just wish brit police were still on analogue systems.
Yes, Chicago is hot. Ever sence Al Capone days. But I need to know more about so called English muffen. Why did they not call it the american muffin? or the french muffin? Does anyone have a schematic on the English muffin?
